Harm Of The COVID-19 Crisis On Children

The Covid-19 pandemic have significantly disrupted the daily lives of children and adolescents, with increase time at home, online learning and limited physical social interaction. It harms physical and mental health, with the poorest children, including homeless children, hit the hardest. School closures, social distancing and confinement increase the risk of poor nutrition among children, their exposure to domestic violence, increase their anxiety and stress, and reduce access to vital family and care services. While not a category at risk from a medical viewpoint, children are significantly impacted by the ongoing COVID‑19 pandemic. This brief aims to capture some key issues and propose early steps that governments can take to mitigate negative consequences for children, especially the most vulnerable.

Immediate government measures need to ensure that children have access to good food, receive protection against child abuse and neglect, have continued access to child physical and mental health services, and can navigate safely on the internet. Policies also need to support parental employment since it is key to fighting child poverty. In addition, COVID‑19 may present serious challenges for inclusive growth as the poorest children are likely to be hardest hit and their heir life chances severely limited, unless immediate and comprehensive measures are taken. From a purely medical perspective, early evidence suggests that children are not the most affected by COVID‑19.

As the COVID‑19 crisis spreads around the world, it is transforming children’s day-to-day lives. The pandemic and the associated policy responses of confinement and social distancing touch on almost every part of children’s worlds. To this end, protecting children’s privacy and safeguarding their personal data is essential for their well-being and autonomy and to ensure that their needs are met in the digital environment.

A Healthy Environment Causes Less Strife

Everything that surrounds us is defined as the environment. Therefore, the natural resource around us on earth is our environment. There are a lot of valid reasons for which we need to protect our environment. Our environment has suffered the curse of pollution, exploitation of resources, and many other things. Saving our environment is the only key for sustaining humanity.

In preparation of National Clean Up Month, it is our duty to take some important measures and save environment for future generations. Our goal is to get the environment back to its rich resourceful nature. These are some methods we can employ in saving the environment: applying and promoting 3R's (Reduce, Reuse and Recycle), participating activities aimed at saving the environment, planting of trees, and inspiring other people. Using these resources cautiously is very important to save the environment. It is everyone's duty and responsibility to protect and preserve the environment for present and future generations.

All natural resources are very important to life that there would be no life without them. By saving our environment, we are only saving ourselves. Saving the environment will enable the nature to thrive again and reduce the survival needed. We can only save our environment through proper management and sustainable development.

Build Upon What I Have Learned

Throughout this quarter, I have learned a lot about internet. I have enjoyed and develop my knowledge and understanding in each of the different lessons of this subject. It enabled me to look further into specific topics which I don't really know. In this quarter, we made and post our own blog and wrote reflection about topics pertaining to the internet. What are the learning/discoveries that I have gained? What are the problems/challenges that I have encountered? How did I address this challenges? This are the questions that are stuck on my mind for this several days.

The learning/discoveries that I have gained are the history and importance of internet. The internet has proved to be a spawning ground for a large and growing number of "e-business" that carry out most of their sales and services over the internet. Internet can make you have a more comfortable environment. With the Internet, it's possible to access almost any information, communicate with anyone else in the world, and do much more. The problem/challenge that I have encountered is making blog. Blogging requires patience, dedication, creativity, marketing skills, and so much more. Lack of quality content, not having a clear topic, absence of feedback, and so on. This are the main problems I have encountered in making a blog. I address these challenges by investing a lot of effort and keeping patience.

Internet helps me knew what is fact and true informations and knowledge development. And it affects my development of attention, memory skills, abilities for critical reasoning, and reading. Moving on, I will imprint this on my brain and I will take this until my aging, because I might need this and it might help me in the future.
